Key Responsibilities

Your daily activities will involve setting out sites and leveling before construction begins to ensure precise placement of structures. You will oversee the selection and requisition of materials while checking technical drawings and plans for accuracy. Throughout the day, you will supervise the work of subcontractors and provide technical advice to resolve any unexpected difficulties on the ground. You are also responsible for maintaining rigorous health and safety records and ensuring that all onsite personnel adhere to company and federal safety regulations.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required for this position. Candidates should have at least three years of experience working directly on construction sites with a strong understanding of land surveying techniques. You must be proficient in AutoCAD and various project management software platforms. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions are necessary, as is a valid driver’s license. Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff members are essential for success.
